AiFILE website & support terms

Clear terms. Your rights retained.

How these pages and support work, and where the app licence fits.

Updated 7 October 2026 · AiFILE Free 0.5.0 preview. The public Mac release is still in preparation.

Who provides these pages?

This website and its support service are provided by INAI CONNECT LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 12974612. Registered office: Orient House, Newton Street, Hyde, SK14 4RY, United Kingdom.

Use AiFILE support, email asicai@protonmail.com, or write to the registered office. The website helper opens an email draft for you to review and send; it is not a server-submitted contact form.

These terms cover these information pages and support correspondence. They are not a separate custom software licence or an offer of an unreleased paid edition.

The app licence and availability.

For AiFILE obtained through the Mac App Store, Apple’s standard end-user licence agreement applies unless a separate custom licence is presented for that app. These website and support terms do not replace that licence or Apple’s applicable purchase terms. Notices for included third-party software remain applicable.

The current website shows a preview and a recorded demonstration. These are not confirmation that an app is already publicly available or approved by Apple. Check the AiFILE page for actual release status and supported features.

Using the website.

You may use these pages to learn about AiFILE, watch the demo and contact support. Please do not use the service unlawfully, send malicious content, impersonate someone else or deliberately disrupt it.

The website’s design, branding and materials remain the property of their respective owners. These terms do not give either party ownership of the other’s materials.

Support and suggestions.

We use your message to address the matter you raise. Support availability can vary; there is no guaranteed general response time or promise that a suggestion will be implemented. This does not affect statutory deadlines or remedies.

Send only information you are entitled to share and need to explain the issue. Please leave out passwords, identity documents, confidential inventions and private documents unless an appropriate route has been agreed. The email-draft helper does not attach files.

You retain any intellectual-property rights you have in a suggestion. Sending it does not transfer ownership or create a consultancy, payment or confidentiality agreement. We may consider ideas and independently develop similar features, but these terms do not give us a right to reproduce your protected material. If a proposal needs special confidentiality or licensing terms, ask us before revealing those details.

Your files and backups.

Search results depend on selected folders, permissions, supported formats and the state of the files. AiFILE’s catalogue is not a backup of your original documents. Keep appropriate backups and check the original document when its contents matter. These practical points do not limit any legal responsibility we have.

We do not take ownership of your documents or memories because you use AiFILE or support. The AiFILE privacy notice explains local cataloguing, and the website privacy notice explains visits and correspondence.

Your legal rights remain.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. This includes applicable consumer rights and liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You keep any mandatory protections and access to courts available under the laws that apply to you.
